Just got a nice dose of Southern hospitality.  A cold call to the Troy Chamber of Commerce resulted in a 2+ hour guided Jeep excursion through the Uwharrie National Forest. We were shown a couple hunting cabins, cliffs, overlooks, abandoned gold mines, swimming holes, and a couple supposed Bigfoot haunts. Told some great local Bigfoot stories and got tons of inspiration for the script. We went down there to get an idea if shooting down there was realistic. It’s definitely realistic. Let’s do it.
